Improv Community Quilt

The first Community Quilt made by our guild was based on Nicholas Ball’s “Inspiring Improv” book, his “The Night Garden” pattern. This quilt was donated to the CT Hospice in Branford, CT.

In 2021, our eyes turned to the SARAH Foundation in Guilford, CT. This quilt was auctioned at their fundraiser last September.

Quilt of Valor

Presented to a Vietnam Veteran in January 2023 as part of the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Thank you for your service.

In 2023 the guild constructed a Colorwash Community Quilt, inspired by Terry Rowland’s design. The quilt was donated to the Guilford Community Center.

In March 2024, the quilt, “Guilford Green”, by Dottie Colonese, was donated to the Guilford Free Library. Guild president Pat Van Horn is shown presenting the quilt to library director, Rob McCoole.
